This is a great idea, Shawaiz : a bear that has been asleep for 1000 years which puts fear into the townspeople's hearts. Your adjective choices (corrosive and woolly) are fabulous! They are like an oxymoron! Your choice of using a metaphor for the bear (the devil) is a super idea because it sets the tone for this character really well.
