Sam, I know that you took great delight scaring a grown-up in your family when you read this too them! So many people are scared of clowns, and I think that you've captured this in your story. It's something about the painted on smile that hides a sinister motive - good thinking Sam. You have some lovely phrases to create atmosphere: '...as I drive off into the shadows...' and 'I hear a roar of cackling laughter...'. Well done. I hope I'm brave enough to read your next story!
