Children's writing: The Iron Man - by Hana

This is a wonderful description of The Iron Man falling off the cliff, Hana. You have used rhetorical questions to get the reader thinking. You have also used repetition of 'Nobody' to emphasise the point.

Example:

Where did he come from? Nobody knows. Who made him? Nobody knows.

You have also used two well-chosen similes to build an image of The Iron Man and described what happened when the wind blew:

Example:

Tall as an old oak tree, when the wind blew him, he was as still as a building.
